Volunteers will assist Food Bank staff with essential warehouse operations that help ensure food reaches our partner agencies safely and efficiently. Tasks may include sorting and inspecting donated food, repackaging bulk items, labeling, and general warehouse organization.This shift is active and hands-on. Volunteers should be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds. Closed-toe shoes are required.

September is Hunger Action Month, and we’re continuing to put our mission into action!

Join the Food Bank of West Central Texas on September 16 for the second of three signature volunteer events happening throughout Hunger Action Month. Volunteers will help bag fresh produce for distribution to neighbors facing hunger across West Central Texas.
